  Cette marsanne plantée sur l'impressionnant terroir des Royes (un cirque minéral exposé plein soleil) offre un vin généreux qui sait bien vieillir. Preuve en est sa couleur dorée, limpide et brillante qui fait déjà saliver... Avec son nez sur l'acacia, le boisé fondu (vanille, épices, miel), la guimauve, le caillou, on pense à Hermitage, même si en bouche il n'a pas sa puissance, ni sa longueur; il lui reste cependant cette amplitude, ce gras, cette richesse qui l'évoque, et cette finale plus saline qui apporte relief et fraicheur (il est moins massif que nombre d'Hermitages onctueux portés par le bois).
  Il devrait tenir jusqu'en 2019, peut-être plus si l'on est pas dérangé par l'arrivée probable de petite notes oxydatives.

  Really enjoyed this. Rich, smooth and tasty. Not too oaky. Still v enjoyable on Day 2.

  Jura, Puligny Montrachet and Champagne; 9/8/2013-9/20/2013: From 75cl, P+P in a restaurant. Excellent on opening, even better 90 minutes later. Initially light, slightly astringent entry; defined muscular mineral mid-palate with some very classy honey extract; long, layered mineral finish. Fattened up considerably over the course of the evening and developed more of the citrus peel notes I'd been hoping for. Wonderful now, should only improve over the next 4-5 years. 90-91P
