From 75cl, perfect cork. A beautiful bottle, entering full maturity, with the residual sweetness I often find offputting in Mann's wines in perfect balance with bright acidity. A gentle giant, nothing overstated; real class here. No hurry. 91P

From 75cl, perfect cork. Improved steadily during the hour after opening. Gentle floral/honeysuckle scent with just a hint of Alsace smoke; delicate, light-bodied entry with tangerine fruit, a little ripe lime juice and just possibly lychee. (The fruit descriptors here and in other people's TNs make this rather refined wine sound more up-front tropical and punchy than it is.) Bright mid-palate acidity well in balance with gentle, "off-dry" sweetness. Long, poised finish. Ready now, will certainly keep five years. 89-90P

good, not great, not enough acid to make memorable.

Tempting mineral nose
Attractive calcaire minerality with rich honeyed fruit. Very long with complex layers working into a chalky finish

2013 editon of En Primeur - Kelly and Kevin’s excellent adventure; 3/26/2014-4/1/2014 (Mostly in Bordeaux and a night in Paris): Intense mineral driven nose, yellow citrus, also peach and honey. Good concentration, bright acidity and strong presence of mineral. Despite noticeable sugar, it is very precise due to strong presence of mineral and bright acidity. It went really well with spicy Szechuan dishes.
