  • Really nice and mature Barbaresco. Visited winery and tried 2019, so much power and grip but this one , almost 16 years later is really something else. So mature and developed. Decanted 2-8 hours. Deep with fig notes , dried cherry/raisins, mushroom like feeling, truffles , Smoky woodyness. Just amazing to drink now. Fruit is starting to faint a bit. Soft tannins but still holding. Could go 5 more years but why wait? So good right now. This beats many barolos after 20 years. So deep and powerful flavours. Lingering on your mouth minutes after your sip. Enjoy! 94-95 p.

  • Terrific wine! Popped and poured but should probably have let it breathe for an hour or so. Smoky and earthy aromas mingle with red fruit. Satisfying finish with fine grained tannins. Medium bodied. Wish I had more!

  • Fairly opaque Ruby/garnet color with definite orange lightening towards the edges. Nose of red fruits, earth, fresh baked cookies and floral perfumes. The palate is powerful with a gore of clean red cherry fruits, some raisin notes, great acidity and fine grained but powerful structure giving tannins. Savory, juicy structured and bold all at once. Flat out delicious.

  • Garnet and clear with orange edges. The nose is toasty red cherry with herbal notes and mushroom. The palate is round, aggressive silty tannins and medium plus acidity. This structure carries forward the savory and earthy spiced red cherry through a long dark finish.

  • Garnet colored; thinning toward the edges. Silky round tannins that are still fairly aggressive in the front of the mouth. Dark caramel nose with stone dust notes, predominate cherry cordial, fig and orange rind. Very very nice.
