Medium tranlucent ruby color. PNP, split bottle over 5 hours. This may be one of the best vintages of Shea that Mark has ever done. The '10 vintage brings together some the best of what Oregon can do. This is one of those transparent wines that is so pure and revelatory. Red cherry on the nose, florals, forest floor, roses, dried spices, and later red berries, and underbrush. The palate is seamless, a feminine Shea, distinctlively red fruited with red cherry and deep red berries, fine tannins, medium bodied, blissful, red currants, dried Christmas spice, mineral notes, and dried earthiness. This takes on more depth and evolves further in glass over 3+ hours. Just stellar. 95pts.
Outstanding! But then St Innocent's Shea bottlings usually are. Big, rich, balanced, complex berry red apple savory earthy notes. Long finish. Well done.

In a perfect drinking spot. Really pretty creme brulee burnt sugar note; floral and forest floor. Palate is very lifted with high tone bright red fruit and the finish is really long and pleasant!

Still a lot of red fruit, raspberries, cherries, good acid, medium bodied, still a great wine.
