  A very subtle elegant soft wine. Takes about a hour for it to truly open up and show its capabilities. Slight fruit nose. a bouquet of red and black fruit, good acidity, subtle tannins with a wonderful lingering sweetness. This evolves and gets better with each glass. A pleasure to drink.

  Magnificent minty aroma, full body, firm tannin, very long, a little astringency soon to fade, you still have to wait 2-3 years. For me, the best 2011 with Latour and VCC. At a still human price.

  Bordeaux Visits - November 2023: Deep, garnet-ruby color. Dark fruit and savory aromas - black currant, iron, violet, leather and cedar, among others. Refined and elegant on the palate, showing extensive notes of black fruit, black tea, melted stone, licorice, and spice, all very-well integrated. Elegant and expansive mid-palate, finishing with long & fine tannins and very nice length.

  This was great straight from the bottle. I much prefer lighter vintages and this helps make it more approachable at a relatively young age for Bordeaux. Beautiful black fruits with subtle tannins and a lovely perfume. Absolutely classic claret from of the greatest makers. Had at Dewakan in KL
