Dark yellow bordering on brown-colored and looked completely oxidized. However, on Day 1 it was drinking pretty nicely with some apple and peach fruit, a bit of a smoky, toasted note, and an oily texture. On Day 2 it had fallen off the cliff.

So wasn't quite sure if this bottle would have been over the Hill, but far from it!!
Was wonderful flavors of peach, tart apple, kiwi with a nice but not overwhelming minerality and, IMHO just the perfect amount of oak to balance out the fruit.
The bottle was a PnP, and served at cellar temp to begin, and drank over the course of 3 hours coming up to room temp/outside (about 68 degree) and the bottle stayed consistent the entire time.
Don't think it calls for decant, but definitely a fabulous bottle that still has some life left, however think it is at it peak, sad it was my last bottle, but definitely great QPR!

Little to add to the last few notes other than it will not get better than it is right now, so drink em and enjoy em if ya got em. Definitely a beverage of pleasure.

Rich yellow; honey and vanilla nose; rich tasty texture with exactly right acidity level, intense lingering deep and rich aftertaste; excellent
