  • Very shy tannins. Not a powerful wine - instead more fruit-forward than I expected with the usual dark fruits present and perhaps a little pepper. Seemed rather closed, with not much perfume on the nose. An elegant and well constructed bottle.

  • Bordeaux Kiosk (Lavinia - Madrid): Deeply aromatic (all in a fruit cocktail) but at the same time elegant and really fine. It rests on a wooden base that is turning into a sweet thing by leaps and bounds.
Including the mouth where prevails the softness that does not forget all the rotundity of its origins (length and density, in this order). Nice combination.

  • Tasted at Chateau.
    2/3 CS, 1/3 M

Deep and dark garnet, opaque, compact and youthful rim.

Rather restrained nose, much less expressive even as compared with its little sibling. Classic bouquet of cassis, graphite, minerals, and boysenberry.

Structured and definitely a very serious wine that needs time. Leafy cassis, herbal notes, pine cone, minerals.

Didn't want to come out of its shell today but potentials are evident. 10 years worth of patience minimum required for this mere "second wine". 90+

  • Nose of pencil lead, black fruits, black currant. High tannin. Tasted at Chateau Latour.

  • Tobacco, earthy cassis, smoke and an open personality, the wine is polished, soft, sweet and has ripe, sweet, fruits, with refinement in the finish. This is quite enjoyable to drink today.
