Överraskande pigg i syrorna och frukten trots den aktningsvärda åldern. Naturligtvis en hel del ålderstoner i form av skogsgolv och sågat virke. Stod sig med glans i timmar under firarkvällen.

Brick core with lighter brown at the edges. This wine had a very Bretty nose along with tobacco, black tea, pine resin, pot pouri, honey and forest floor. There was a heaviness to this aroma that was reminiscent of rain forest air as well as a stunningly complex, floral undertone. This wine still had amazing structure with great acidity and still strong tannins. Amazing balance. There was also an extremely long finish and very complex.
