Soy and cedar on the nose; much better on the palate, with raspberry and cherry, savory, leather. Fairly light-bodied, with almost no noticeable tannin, but a good deal of acidity. Medium finish. Obviously, quite past its prime, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Much better than my last bottle.

Thin. Old. Sad. It is still holding on for dear life, with a hint of red fruit beneath medium acid and savory elements. Its last days were at least ten years ago.

Very pleasant aromatics; mature leather, cedar and mossy earth over gentle red fruited flavours. It's a little faded in the mouth with the fruit flavours a little tired and frail, but there's still nice acidity beneath and it's quite enjoyable.

Fantastic complex nose, typical of a grand old Bordeaux, lovage, spive, strawberry, raspberry, rather thin and acidic on the palate. Mind you, quite a good effort for such an old substandard year. Drink up.
