Really just a step away frpm being a great wine. This was very good and a great value. A little tight at first. After an hour, very smooth, red fruits, still a little tannic.

A wonderful value yet again, perfumed nose and lively palate of fresh purple berries, spice, and potpourri finishing with cool red berry acidity. Drink or Hold.

Poured a glass and put the rest of the bottle under vacu vin. No notes taken on the first glass, but it had a surprising stone fruit note.
Night 2: Richer, with no stone fruit. Smells like flowers and earth, deep, savory, and a bit animal, with fleeting olives and red berries. Same on the palate, but with more fruit, like red cherries and raspberries. Excellent acidity, noticeable but very smooth tannins, fairly long floral and slightly bitter mineral finish. There's a good wildness to this - nice wine, and a terrific value.

Continues to be a ridiculous value, and everything one could want in $15 wine. Rustic, earthen red fruit, lively acidity, dried flowers, and asian spice emerge on the nose and palate. Versatile with food, but excels with game or red meat. Drink or Hold.

Wonderful aromas of cassis, black pepper, violets, bramble, and spicecake. Fruit forward and mouth filling, with layers of dark, chalky fruit. The finish is directed, spicy, and more red fruited, adding tones of underbrush, dried rose, and worn leather. This is a strikingly good value at $15, will be loading up with more. Drink or Hold.
