Group got new world quickly. Intense kirsch flavors, huge red fruit, big wine but with surprising (to me) acidity. Obvious but not overwhelming oak. Acidity keeps it from being jammy, I like more than previous Kistler PNs.
Clear ruby, high tone Pinot fruit with alcohol note. In mouth, there is floral aroma with smooth palate and bit spicy. Too sweet and simple, like a concentrated village level wine sans the tannin. New world style here.
