  • Clear. Ligth brick color.
Clean. Developing still, classic cabernet nose. Dark berries, some green notes, very elegant. Touching on medicinal.
Sleek, elegant mouthfeel, lots of fruit. Fresh, silky tannins, but with a firm structure.
    Good length on the finish.

  • From magnum.
Juicy dark cherry on the refined nose with leather, beans and slight bell pepper.
Medium bodied and refreshing - almost zingy - palatal feel with supple tannins. Lean fruit, slight greener character, bell pepper, liquorice, dark chocolate hints and something gravelly. Lengthy.
I really digged this aroma profile and the overall lean style of the vintage. A beautiful wine, though many will find this simple and unpleasently greenish.

  • Decanted for 1 hour. Brick colored with a muddy tone. Aromas of dusty earth and cooked fruit. Nice medium body on the palate with leather and mocha notes. Evolved nicely in the glass.

  • Tasting of 6 Italian Red Wines at Primas. Sported the typical cabernet nose, led to cherry fruit with a sweet/sour taste in the mouth, nice finish and seemed more California like than Italian. My #2 and Retail $29.95.
