Nose - Quite manderized (substantive sherry notes) Palate - As above, but mellowed over the evening. Few bubbles left. I vagely recall that this turned into a sherry desert wine towards the end of the evening.
Apple notes shine through. A touch oxidized, but it needed time to open up. Towards the end of the night this turned out to be great, reminded me of an icewine without the sweetness. Very interesting, and still a decent bead for a wine of such age.
