Decanted for an hour. Strong cassis o the nose, good fruit and tannins on the palate. In a good spot now, but should get better with some more age.

No sediment. Deep inky purplish red, pink at the rim. Right out of the bottle, a very generous nose: violets, rose, damp forest floor. In the mouth, well balanced, drying tannins followed by fruit and acid. However not giving much away yet. After 1h the general impression is "tart" but it's a wine with real backbone. It paired well with a steak - but in more of a supporting role as a quality and well balanced glass.

Deep ruby in the glass. Developing nose showing notes of raspberry, cherry, plum, lit up cigar and spiced biscuits. You can see that this wine is coming from an average vintage as it’s not displaying much depth or structure. Just a one-dimensional expression of Bordeaux.
