Beautiful acidity. understated, almost invisible, but subtlety sits underneath and carries a wonderful, fresh, lively, mineral-ly on the back end, supers chard. The wood must be there somewhere, but it beats me just where. So nuanced. Just beautiful wine.

Domaine Serene & King Estate - Store Tasting (Roseville, MN): Burgundian in style, with minimal malolactic, yet with loads of oak, which become overly apparent as the wine warms to RT (keep this one chilled!). Subtle nose of mineral, apple, and pear. Crisp, with plenty of acid for balance. Long finish. Impressive Oregon chardonnay.

Domaine Serene tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shoppe): Great subtle nose of butter, pears, lemon/orange zest. Buttered lemon, floral, white flowers, minerals and white gummy bears on the palate. Great oak treatment. Oily/silky textured palate. Medium plus finish.
SS 91pts.

Dark cherries with a hint of cinnamon. Orangy entry with some darker fruits but t dies off for me. Good. Not great.

Citrus, melon and some seashell minerality up front, with a big buttery, toasty oak finish. Very tasty. Paired well with grilled lobster.
