This wine has a deep purple color with a crimson rim. It’s nose was initially earthy, but after sone decanter time, it became more floral with lavender and fruity with red and black fruit. This wine is full bodied and extracted with cassis, tart black cherries, and oak. There is even a mild taste of tobacco and cracked pepper It’s fairly complex and has plenty of freshness and acidity. The finish is long and it’s tannins are still grippy. This is an excellent example of old vine Spanish Mourvèdre, fully mature and ready to drink.

This wine was light on it's feet. Dark ruby color, with dried berry, earth and leather. Midweight wine with dusty tannin - it appeared as if it were nearing the end of its life. Like I just missed the best part of the wine. Finish was a little short but it was all balanced.

Soft, mature and surprisingly subtle. Would have enjoyed it more if the alcohol was lower.

Fresh, grippy, but well balanced. Black cherries, blackberries, cassis, earth. Very good.
