  • This wine is an excellent value. served at EIE against much more expensive wines and it showed well. Lots of really nice fruit- medium dark fruit flavors plus other stuff like some tobacco or leather? very nice tannins and balance glad I have more. drinking great now but no hurry. I opened an hour before--maybe a bit early because an hour and a half after we started drinking it was losing it a bit (or maybe I was?). Don't open more than 30 minutes early it seemed really nice right on opening.

  • Upon opening very acidic tasting. I drank this bottle over 3.5 hours and definitely got better as time went on.

I found this wine to be spicy and quite a bit of menthol on the finish. I feel with time this bottle will soften and the fruit will come forward a bit. Has a dusty taste to it.

  • Dusty, plump fruit aromas show notes of cassis, blackberries, black pepper, and a whiff of sea air. Full bodied and savory in the mouth, with an agreeable backnote of spice. Persistent, balanced, and very approachable, gaining fruit richness and sweetness the longer it sits.

  • "Accessibility" would be the hallmark of this deep ruby, user-friendly Cabernet. Opening with dark cherry, blackberry and spice box aromas, it follows with similar flavors in a medium-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (13.5%), softly tannic frame. Velvety textures prevail throughout the middle palate and the wine closes with a medium-length, silky finish. Well-priced and with broad appeal, this was a hit with drop-in guests on Halloween evening. Drink now-2019.

  • Medium nose of menthol, green pepper, blackcurrant and a dose of cocoa. Medium bodied, balanced, refreshing acidity, albeit with a short finish. Good for the price.
