Paired with leg of lamb on tian. Out of this world!!!
We have been making this dish since 2002, and this is the most felicitous pairing ever for it. It also enhanced the wine as no other pairing has done
Classic damson and floral nose, smooth attack, tannins just melding with the richness of aubergine and lamb juices, finish stretching out with hints of mineral.
And then with Brie... Richness of fruit comes to the fore
Could call this a 96, but realistically this was a unique pairing that worked incredibly well

Great similarities on nose and initial palate. This lasted and expanded over tongue with the touches of smoothness and additional complexities that said "this is it"
Still a way to go to its peak
