A fine Mouvedre blend, just now beginning to dring well. With air, dark blue & black fruits with fleeting violets & old forest fire emerge from the glass. Tannins are fine & well integrated along with proper acid to focus the wine. More serious, and refined than 2012 Occultum Lapidem drunk same nite. Another 4-5 years may serve this wine well.

Early- recommend decanting hour+. A little disjoint, as you might expect young, well made mouvedre to be. Rich & dark... suitable for red meats & stews. Better in years ahead, I'm sure.

Medium ruby with moderate bricking - quite beautiful to look at Aromas a bit muted initially - red and black cherry with a little raisination Palate was more intense - lush, sweet red and black fruit Medium tannins and medium acidity with alcohol a touch on the high side and throwing this out of balance slightly I would tend towards drinking this now as to me at least it appears to be fading a bit

An outstanding Jumilla, punching far above its weight. Balanced floral with a sweet raspberry core, this has both weight and lightness to be appreciated. Stony undertones make for a clear, bright wine. Enjoy this now as it far exceeds the expectations of its price point.
