Falling behind in drinking up my older wines due to not entertaining. This wine was excellent and much better than the 2010 vintage I had last night. Nicely balanced fruit and acid with a medium long finish.

PnP into a Reidel BDX. Dark ruby color. A riper, lower acid New World riff on the Right Bank. My btl was throwing a decent amount of sediment. A rich velvety, complex range of flavors such as; tobacco, chocolate, tar, mineral and dark cherry. Does a nice job of standing up to its 14.2% Alc. Very enjoyable and a solid value at the $40 I paid for it from the winery on release. 92pt+.

Fruit gone but there is still body. Just a bad Merlot. Will try the 2010 next.

Did not age well. Pretty much vinegar at this point. A failed experiment.

Smooth integrated tannins, nice fruit on the mouth and a medium long finish. A little light but pleasant and a good value.
