Margaret River Tasting (Bistro Cocotte, Haberfield): Stone fruit, peach and a little apricot, floral top notes, a little meaty underpin, toast. Juicy, phenolic grip lends texture, lemon and apricot, quite tangy, slight alcohol warmth on the finish but rather nice.

an elegant example of Margaret River Chardonnay Colour mid gold bright and clear 15/15 Nose struck match , medium intensity subtle flavours of grapefruit, melon, white flowers ,oak flavours are dominant 26/30 Palate Medium to full in intensity with melon, peach and grapefruit flavours look by finishing with a tangy bite of mineral and lemony acidity. 38/44 Overall a bit disappointed really , for the asking price $70-$80 I'm expected a lot more complexity and intensity 6/11 If it was selling for $35-40 it would have got a few more points

Woodlands Cellar Door Tasting (Woodlands winery cellar door): An austere mineral nose of wet stone with delicate buttery oak and limes and lemons. The palette has bold and racy acid with a big strong citrus and stone fruit to match and a silly mouthfeel. This will cellar well.

Stone fruit tending to tropical notes - pineapple, butter, spice, vanilla. In the mouth butter of stone fruit, but warm on the finish. Okay.
