Showing shades of maturity. Presently, rather juicy, lean and feminine. But it is quite delicious and seems to have ample reserves. It feels like an awkward phase in which the acidity is over-pronounced. I would happily drink and cellar it.

Opened this yesterday and shared over lunch, dragging the remainder home with me. Roll forward to today, sipping on it with some string cheese and turkey. This is squarely old world PN in tone, with lots of tart cherry, cracked spice, tangy acidity and soil. Delicious, but probably not going to fit the palate of the new world PN drinker. This is my last bottle (and glass) so nothing to revisit in the future but for a drink window, there is plenty of energy here remaining and I'm sure I can be scolded by some for opening this in 2017.

this hit the nostrils with floral perfumes and dried cherries, shows structure and class, remains light, lively acid carries a tune of red berries, spices, mineral and cherry pie on the palate, tart but refreshing and food-friendly

Huge floral nose. Nice medium weight on the palate with a touch of earthy goodness and considerable elegance.
