  Still bright, pale gold colour, Muted aromas apple, pear, crushed hazelnut. The palate is fresh, citrus plus apple and pear and cedar spice. Elegant and complex.

  Leaner style of Meursault, but certainly none the less for it. Very mineral/flinty upfront, but there is a hint of characteristic Meursault richness and butter at the reasonably long finish. A slightly different but still expression of the vineyard, and, judging from this bottle, has years ahead of it.

  Drinking very well, with nice balance and length, there’s a complex mix of orchard fruit, nuttiness, and floral components. It got better as it went and might have scored higher if we drank it slower (93-94)
