Recently purchased during the Cellars Roseville closing sale. This has held up better than expected. Lots of stone fruit, sparkle, and a clean finish. Well balanced. Me - 90, Wife - 91 Still drinking well now with some time left.

Served with polenta and mushroom sauce. Light gold, clear. Smooth nose, similar to previous notes. Good balance on palate, an enjoyable wine. Although the mushrooms in tonight's dinner were sautéed with butter and chardonnay wine and the polenta was sautéed in butter, the Etude really didn't stand up to them - should have served a Pinot Noir with this food. Driver error I guess. Nice better than average everyday wine.

Nose: buttery, light apple
Taste: light oak, stone with a nice finish. Surprisingly good for a 9 year old chardonnay.

Monthly Tasting Group: Cali Cabs 2005 and Older (Capitalle Grille, Mpls, MN): Light-medium gold color. Drank a small glass over 20 minutes. Citrus, lemon, medium bodied, wood, a little angular on the finish. Still very good, but probably a little past peak.

Smells and tastes like Chardonnay, lots of fruit, and not much else, other than alcohol burn.
