Palate shows strawberry, red cherry, light watermelon notes, and slight hints of meat that made me recall Provencal rosés from grapes like Mourvèdre. Dry palate. The acidity is moderate, the wine fresh and clean. Purchased on a whim at Bottle Shop in Spring Lake, NJ. Very nice summer wine. 100% Xynomavro. The fruit gets deeper and darker overnight, now showing darker red cherry notes.

  Blind Tasting: 10 Rose Summer Wines: Medium pommegranate red. Expressive nose with strawberry, red cherry and tomato. Medium-bodied, nicely balanced with a medium, slightly bitter aftertaste. Ranked at Nr.6
