Magnum. Wow what a difference the larger size makes (vs 750 of several weeks ago). This was phenomenal--fresh, deep, haunting seashells aroma and so pure on palate. Even in larger size is this is at peak.
After being decanted: freshly-squeezed lemon and ground rocks. The wine then became very savory - toasted nori, pine needles -, more so than a bottle 18 months ago, with a wide taste that expanded in the mouth and a long finish. A play on bitterness. From memory, I think I preferred the nose on my last bottle but overall this bottle was more haunting.
