Light red with a brown cast. Nose is wild strawberry, herb, alcohol. Glycerine feel and heat on the tongue. Surprising concentration of woodsy, red fruit. Delicious, unusual and ready.

Day 1: The best of the 4 I purchased a few years back. Soy, underbrush, floral, raspberries and perfume. Vibrant wine with wonderful finish. Good acidity and one of the best Domestic Pinots I have had in a while. 92 plus Day 2: Not as good so based on that this is drink now. Recommendation: On a pop and pour this was delicious. Had a strong feeling this would not be as good day 2. Probably around 88. Consume now!

I consider the Neely Hidden Block 2012 the best Pinot I have ever. Like you'd expect this wine has medium body but still has a lot of presence, acidity is very smooth as are the tannins. I had this wine with a Steak tartare and the pairing was simply phenomenal. Be aware that that Neely offers several single vineyards labels and the Hidden Block was the superior one from those I had the chance to try.

Lys rubinfarve, med smag af bourgne af skovbund, vilde jordbær, fugtig jord og sød krydderi. Middel kraftig elegant, livlig og ren smag.
