really tight on opening, initially only giving some funky secondary aromas that almost made me think it was corked, but it opened up nicely with some air. Definitely a richer and more masculine bottle than the rest of the AHF lineup, but quite nice and still has room to gain complexity.
Really drinking well. Light colored but intense aromatics, red fruit, eart, spice and some florals. Crisp and elegant red fruit, earth and some tea on the palate. Lean and bright, and still showing some astringent tannins on the finish. Very nice, and agre this probably has some upside.
