Very cool aged Flowers here, in excellent shape, dark brass, but slight nutty notes, some subtle caramel, good bones, slightly ripe, almost sweet attack. 90-91. Good aged CA Chard. H's backyard dinner party.

A very dark chardonnay, and tasting great at this point. A lovely nose, some butter, but gentle, and a color that suggests that it was built to last. we opened this wine after a number of rose and i thought it was one of the better of the wines that we drank. I un-corked it for 30 minutes and then we drank it. Without the decant, I think the wine did well. Everyone seemed top agree. the nose was buttery flowers and the palate was not too oaky. I would buy more of this wine, but drink it immediately. Like sand in an hour glass...

Big and blowsy, but actually much better than my last sample. Exotic fruits and flavors, but still a good dose of oak, which is somewhat sustained by the rich cornicopia of flavors.
