- Garnet color and has flavours of cherry and blackberry - IMHO the 2010 needs to be drunk by the end of 2014, as the full fruit flavor is starting to diminish. Of course, if you do not seek the bold-fruit flavor in a Zinfandel, then it can be cellared longer. This bottle was balanced and had a nice aroma of pepper and plenty of dark berries. The boldness of the fruit aroma was a bit less in the flavor. I have enjoyed the 2010 a few times in 2013, and look forward to the 2011 vintage.
