Black fruit dominates the taste profile, with not much cherry/raspberry. Definite spice of cinamon and nutmeg. Mouth feel is dense for a Pinot. Medium/full body with nice complexity, but the high alcohol at over 15% makes it less food friendly than some west coast Pinots. Nice sipping by itself though. A serious pinot noir.
Delicious, dark, rich and decadent. This is the biggest wine in the WALT lineup. Ripe berries on the nose, with a silky mouth feel and nice finish. I usually prefer the lighter style of PN, but this is soooo good!
