Classic white Bordeaux. Great blend, with both the Sauvignon and Semillon contributing well. Very lovely nose, with hints of tropical fruit and white flowers. Pretty nicely balanced on the palate; could use a touch more acidity. Drinking now and over the next five or so years.

Christmas Dinner Søllerød 2016 (Søllerød Kro): Served blind, and I did guess the origin and almost exactly the amount of Semillon - if not the producer. This is a wonderful, very typical white Bordeaux-wine with the vibrant balance between sweet creaminess and smoke and stringent minerality; works so well, when it works. A bold move to serve this with lobster in a red curry-inspired suace, bit it did not only work but lifted the whole experience. Bravo, Jan, once again.

We had 2009 wine. Very nice drink by itself wine. Medium to full bodied not sweet but not dry wine. Goes well with Choc and cheese.
