  Very mellow and smooth. Nice flavors of cherry and a little spice on the finish. Definitely ready to drink now.

  Sweet red fruit, cherry, earthy nose. Spice, pepper, red fruit and earth on the palate. Typical Pinot flavors, showing how an Anderson Vallet Pinot can age with earthiness spice and acid balancing fruit, but still a bit simple and sweet in mid palate. Medium length with tart fruit.

  softening up nicely and some wonderful elegant pinot flavours r coming through. light cherry and floral notes with a hint of spice on the finish. a bit expensive but i like the small production profile of this wine.

  I cannot comment on the price of this however was very pleased to have this opened and thrust into my face (with no expectations whatsoever)at a NY's eve dinner with some friends. This wine was pretty beguiling; fuller flavoured, had some secondary characteristics underlining a deep, dark strawberry flavour, typical Californian pinot traits in my opinion. This is still full of flavour, lacked the depth of classic Burgundies but was very enjoyable. Ps the drinking window says to 2014. Ignore this, there's a good few years left, I'm sure.
