A delightfully complete wine for this price point. At first, the nose reminds one of Chablis or Maconnais, but this wine is 40% grenache blanc, 30% sauvignon, & 30% clairette. Subtle lemongrass and even subtler melon flavors are flanked by an upper sideband of salinity and a lower sideband of minerality. Medium acidity levels keep the wine vibrant and refreshing. For under $10, you can't expect complexity, but at least this wine delivers great integration of its modest flavor palette. A great wine to drink as a first bottle with light appetizers outside while waiting for the grill to heat up.

Very pale yellow. Light lemon spice nose. Bitter lemon-lime flavor.Rhonish mellow fullness. Pleasant, smooth, medium finish.
