Consumed over 3 days, stored in Somm du Vin at red wine temp, note from day 3. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby with just a slight hint of edge bricking - more youthful in appearance than expected for a decade old wine. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with developing aromas of ripe plum, pencil lead, and bell pepper with eucalyptus notes. Palate: Dry, medium- soft tannin, medium acid, medium+ body, medium+ intensity, 14.0% abv with developed flavors of ripe dark fruit - plum, bell pepper, and leather with a long finish. Overall an excellent wine likely in the back-half of it's prime drinking window - showing exceptional intensity and length while lacking just a bit in complexity. Drink now or over next 2 years.

Consumed over three days. The first day it was good, a little big. The second day it was kind of flabby. The third day it was back to being good and had mellowed a bit. Not flabby and not too big.

100% Rutherford AVA cabernet sauvignon, 28 months in French oak 50% new / 50% neutral. Highly recommend and at this point of maturation an outstanding QPR wine for those of us that got this at the release price. Among the best of the CT coop project wines. Drink or hold but leaning heavily on the drink, no further upside to further cellaring is anticipated. Fully mature but no drop off noted - witj proper cellaring anticipate at least another 2-3 good years. Deep purple, peripheral bricking present, very smooth and totally integrated, oak and tannins resolved with good fruit persisting, good mouth feel and full bodied. Lovely long lingering aftertaste. Popped and poured and with some swirling opened up nicely - if decanted a short 30 minute decant is adequate. Nose dark with dark stone fruit, tar and smoke with a hint of the famed Rutherford dust present. Flavor profile a beautiful mix of classic Napa cabernet stone fruit and cassis overlayed with more secondary flavors of cedar, wet stone, leather and a smokier cigar box finish with the Rutherford pixie dust more prominently present on the finish then on the nose. 4 bottles left, will be consumed by end of 2023 if not sooner.

This was the best of the project wines we've had to date. This is drinking very smooth and balanced with nice fruit flavors a touch of cedar and black pepper spice. The tannins have softened in a well integrated. This went incredibly well with our charcoal grilled Angus beef burgers.

Haven't opened one of these in quite some time. Has developed very nicely! Lost a lot of the initial baby fat and starting to show some secondary characteristics. Excellent.
