  • Nose: ripe blueberries and cherries, hint of grass clippings and green pepper, very peffume-y

Palate: macerated raspberry, blueberry, bit of menthol and forest floor

Finish: medium-long. Well integrated and smooth tannins.

  • a pretty CA cab. bright red fruit, violets on the nose and plenty of fruit in a medium plus body with balanced acidity in a solid finish. Probably at its peak as I dont see it needing time to get better. very enjoyable.

  • Still drinking nicely. Pop and poured it was just a little closed, but a 45-1hr decant opened up nicely. Did not take formal notes, but nice balance with a slight fruit forward. Nice long finish. Drinking nicely now and most likely will not evolve much but could still set for many years.

  • Didn't quite make it holding off for the full year, but guess 9 months was close.

Bottle is still sold and has life left to it, but think Its peaked. Seemed to be a little softer this time around. Was ready to go from the PnP and though not decanted, was open for about 5 hours and seemed to say about the same, not a bad thing.

Mostly black fruit with a hint of red, did not notice any of the bitterness commented by some, did have that typical Spring Mtn earthiness / mineral characteristics and great floral quality on bouquet.

Had a 1/3 bottle left, so revisited next day, and though seemed to loose a little bit of the fruit and minerals, did not seem tired at all, held up fabulously and rest was gone in a flash!!

Don't think any hurry to consume, but think its at its peak.
