Super fun tasting at WineBid in Napa Valley, will definitely be stopping by on our next trip!
Deep garnet red in appearance. A bit smoky on the attack with some dark plums, leather and dried cherries on the nose. Medium tannins (6/10) with a medium plus body. Well integrated with blackberries, spiced, earthy and a touch of olives. Long finish. Drink till 2022.

Wine from the cellar inferno. Cork was soaked all the way through and wine seeped out under foil. Still in surprisingly good shape. Plenty of supple tannins and life left in wine. Dark, inky, classic and smooth syrah, though not very complex.

Still has nice fruit and balance. No signs of decline at this point.

Beautiful and elegant, yet explosive. Consistent results with prior tastings. Definitely needs at least 30 minutes of air.
