Very old world. Crisp beaujolais with lots of minerals and cherry flavors. Bretty, but in a good way. Significantly better than the last bottle I had of this.

Seems a bit over the hill to me. Strawberry fruit, but perhaps a touch of VA? Not unenjoyable, but I have to think this was better a few years ago. Going downhill fast on day two... less fruit with a definite oxidized taste on the finish. A plastic cork in a wine distributed by Louis/Dressner seems ironic... I'm sure it doesn't contribute to this wine having a long shelf life.

Clearly flawed, with reductive unpleasantness on the nose and some petillance (synthetic cork closure) but remarkably potable with pretty red berry flavors and some grip. Too bad for what it could have been.

It didn't survive the extruded synthetic cork.

Drinking with Dressner (Act II) (Le Caveau, Chamblee, GA): Still alive and kicking despite the synthetic cork. Cranberry and leather, with vibrant acidity, a tasty treat.
