Nice QPR. Great tar from the syrah. Really got good after 1 hour. Definitely decant before drinking, at least one hour. Dark fruit on the palate. Even with the strong tar and syrah up front, the grenache still came through. I think this wine can be consumed now but it certainly will not be over the hill in 3 years, so no hurry yet.
Not one of the best TCV wines, but it is their lowest end GSM, non estate. For the $14 I paid, not bad. But I keep getting pickier as I get older and this is just an "okay" wine. Certainly no wine making flaws, just a victim of vineyard selection and vintage.
