  Rich, ripe and fruity Riesling, not as refreshing and mineral as some other recent vintages, golden color, lots of yellow apple fruit, ripe stone fruits and some oven baked lemon. A poweful style, ripe and rich but with good acidity. Fruit-forward and easy-drinking, but ultimately lacks the tension and freshness of other vintages I have so far tasted. Nevertheless an excellent wine. - 89 points

  rik riesling med dyp strågul farge, tropisk frukt, floraltoner, honnning og en mineralitet som om noen år vil utvikles til petroaroma. Litt tett tekstur, men flott syre. Fremstår noe tung, tenker på Alsace.

  A very rich and fruity Wittmann Westhofener Riesling trocken this year, not as refreshing and mineral as some other recent vintages, quite a dark golden color, lots of yellow apple fruit, ripe stone fruits and some oven baked lemon - verging on overripe flavors, a poweful style, ripe and rich but with good acidity. Easy-drinking and offers lots of fruit, but ultimately lacks some tension and freshness. Nevertheless an excellent wine. - 89 points
