  Excellent - still going strong. Cork intact in bottle but shattered on removal attempt - the Durand to the rescue. Ethereal Donnhoff nose, complex palate still supported by a nice balance between acidity and a bit of sweetness. The usual perfect pairing with mildly spiced Indian.

  Cork on this was a little leaky but no appreciable ullage.
  this was a little disappointing compared to last bottle...on the sweet side and seemed out of balance. still drank it tho :)

  Deep straw in color. Nose of cherries, ripe peaches, and aged apples. Tastes of apple cider, peaches, and oxidized fruit. Medium acidity. Past its prime. Still pleasant to drink. Drink up.

  Intense cherry fruit with pineapple accents. Very mild acidity, but such pretty aromas and flavors that it's not a major factor. Not for those looking for electric Riesling, but it certainly expresses the Kirschheck.
