Acceptable quality St-Emilion, with medium garnet color showing its maturity. The nose is quite weak, but showing fair complexity of blackberry and plum, prune, savory and chocolate, liquorice, and vanilla. Medium in acidity, the tannin is drying and bitter. A medium-bodied wine with a reasonably concentrated palate, showing plum, prune, blackcurrant leaf, cloves and vegetal notes, with a reasonable finish. Overall a bit tired and past its best, and is probably a bit too old to drink.
