  Very big wine. Took to our birthday dinner and should have brought it to the restaurant an hour early to decant. Was getting rather pleasant as dinner was coming to an end. Initially was way out of balance, with a harsh acid up front, which faded to an overwhelming tannin and finally relaxed into a nice drinkable wine. Was very good with wagyu.
