Was absolutely terrific last night with a cold steak and asparagus salad. At the absolute peak of aged divinity now, showing the structure of the cool vintage with optimally picked fruit: blackberry, cassis, black coffee, and just a whisper of Washington's signature herbal/green bell pepper thing. Loved it. Best WA 2008 I've had.

Really on point last night, with plenty of bright cherry, hot stones, sage and red currants. Full bodied, with ripe tannins and lively acidity. This has shed its baby fat, its sweater of oak. Great example of the variety and the region. Really showed its versatility (thanks to the structure and balance) by pairing with a cinghiale al pappardelle. Should continue to favorably evolve over the next decade and beyond. 14,1% abv. (resolved).
Audozed 7 hours, served non-blind.

Decanted for 90 minutes. Served with dinner. Good from the start and got better and better over the course of the evening. Perfect expression of WA State Cabernet Sauvignon. Tannins were smooth and refined. Long finish. Definitely happy with this wine.

We tasted this at the winery and thought it was terrific. Opened it for New Years Eve and it is good, but this bottle isn't memorable. Pleasant fruit is nicely balanced with the acid. The flavors are layered, tannins seem to be missing, finish s medium long.
