More elegant and restrained than expected. Ripe black/blue fruit, vanilla, light oak, tobacco, eucalyptus, and cassis. No sharp edges but definately the tannins to Go further. Decanted for only 1 hour.
Decanted for 3-4 hours. Inky purple with flowers and crushed blackberries on the nose. Over time gravel, asphalt and blueberries on the palate. Rich but not overly extracted. This is excellent wine making and probably some of the Diamond Mountain "terrior" which seems to produce some outstanding wines in the valley.
