Look: medium gold; many steady, pretty strong tiny bubbles
Nose: almond, hazelnut, lemon, biscotti, light cream, vanilla, cold raw pie crust
Palate: hazelnut, caramel, ripe yellow apple, graham cracker, almond, lemon pith; medium finish of cinnamon, graham cracker, ginger, lemon pith, light chamomile; maybe just slightly off dry; medium body; high- acidity; many very fine bubbles with med+ to high- strength
Overall: This is showing great, if a bit younger than I expected. This is pretty much what I hope to find in a mature (but not old / very old) Champagne. Great aged notes of caramel and hazel nut that go well with the still lively fruit and acidity. The bubbles are actually stronger than expected, but not too strong. Great wine!

Palate: very bright, high - acid; fine silky bubbles; medium - body; toasted almond, buttered brioche, yellow apple, cream, chamomile; medium - finish of toasted almond and chamomile.
Overall: it’s a very elegant and nice mouthfeel with silky bubbles that glide over the tongue. The flavors are what I like in a champagne. It’s very yummy.

Beautiful and sharp yellow color. Very fruity nose. Brioche, chalk, bread, peach, abricot. Very opulent nose and taste. This is maybe a bit too much of a crowd pleaser. Lacks complexity! A step up from their NV Brut, but the fruit is too dominating.

1966 birthday vertical at Domaine de Chevalier (Domaine de Chevalier - actually on 2 December 2016): Mature color, and tasted mature, yet lively and finely textured. From memory, it exuded stone fruit aromatics and flavors with slight notes of hazelnut and toffee, providing a touch of complexity to the vibrant aspect of this wine that went down very smoothly. We all enjoyed it.
