PNP at cellar temperature. Think it needs a little chill, but not much. Still drinking nicely and age has helped it, as suggested by others. Soft citrus on the nose. Pretty golden yellow color. This will be good with food, which is going to be wild salmon and spaghetti squash. Just a little bit of the malolactic here, not over done. Ripe pear and lemon meringue - not the bracing sort of lemon. Certainly not great depth and a short to medium finish. Can’t recall what I paid but most definitely one of the better Spanish whites we have had and obviously cellar-able.

zeer lekkere witte wijn met houttoets. Bij gravad lax . Goede combinatie, elkaar positief versterkend. Krachtige wijn zonder te overpoweren. Proberen bij te kopen!

(From magnum) Well, it has gained some body and presence in the glass, wouldn't call it restrained now. There's certainly noticeable oak here, it will certainly integrate in the future and the wine will feel more balanced than now. Wine was with a certain density, stony, unripe white peach and cold butter. Very good with food.

Cannot quite understand some of the low scores here. My one criticism would be that a lack of complexity but that may come with a bit more age. Good balance of minerality with a restrained tropical fruit note and a lick of vanilla from the oak ageing. Excellent value at £13

Unusual Whites, A fine wine tutored tasting with Catherine Owen (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): Quite a pale colour, light exotic on the nose, light green feel. 13.5% Alc but feels a hot wine. Not very inspiring and failed to make an impact. Average. 85
