Garnet core and rust rim. Blackcurrant complexed with dried fruit, black pepper, truffle, cigar box, vanilla and slight floral elements. In other words a complex nose, in which people will find many aromas, in this case, the distinctive nose of Pauillac. On the palate, I found the wine had very good fruit, excellent acid balance with the charm associated with claret. There was a mild tannin in the background but soft. I thought this wine was medium to full bodied, particularly for the vintage and the length was medium to long. I thought that this wine is lovely drinking now but will hold.

Perfect timing to drink. Nearly 19 years old. Dark ruby in color with a clear brownish rim! The nose is very nice, mild, gently roasted herbs, orange peel and a touch of creamy coffee, after two hours, the full capacity shows! First bottle of 12, and it is a solid wine, slightly sweet, fairly rich and good dense, and I am looking forward to continue with the other 11 bottles, accompanied with carefully selected french cuisine ! Will most likely deliver on the same level for the next five years!

Still going very strong after all these years! Dark dark ruby in colour! Nose is now dominated by sweet dark cassis fruits with a slight hint of spice! Rich and deep on the palate! Very simple, pure dark fruits! Still young and energetic, but you really can drink it now, I don't think it will develop a lot more complexity in the coming years! It can be held of course! Very very nice claret! Very Pauillac! 90+

Indeed a nice claret. Still kept its berrytaste and acidity despite the age. This is the third from a bopx of 12, - all fine and drinkable.
