Correct, but weak. Shows a lot of rain in its colour and on the palate. Perfectly respectable, but no more. Best glass comes from the end of the bottle, where the residue adds some depth and flavour. Otherwise fairly boring.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of tobacco, shale and a little dried herbs du Provence. Flavors of black berries and black cherries. Drink or hold. Needs air if drinking now.

A pretty, open bouquet of sweet cassis, fresh toast and forest mushrooms. Elegant and balanced with a good mature finish, this is completely integrated and drinking beautifully now. Definitely of the “elegant” school of wine.

French Bakery BYO 2000+prior Bordeaux Right Bank(Libournais) (French Bakery, Kane concourse, Bay Harbor Islands, Florida): Charlie's wine, and WOTF. I blindly commented that this was quintessential Bordeaux, with which Charlie concurred. A balanced wine, with excellent bouquet, cedar, lead pencil. Good bouquet, mouthfeel, and extended finish. A complete wine, that outclassed its Pomerol brethren. So much for you know who's taste. In the proverbial minute he gave to this wine he rated it a 76!!!
