Lovely light burgundy red. The nose pops with ripe cherry and earth and a bit of warmth. Robust palate that mimics the nose. Beginning it’s downward slope. Drink up. Nice old wine. (91)

Good meaty burgundy that seems to have settled nicely into maturity. Earth and chicken fried steak nose (weird I know) mixed with red fruits. The acid has integrated well yet the palate retains good verve. Needs a bit more depth to be special but nice wine. (91)

A light and "feminine" wine which is somewhat past its prime. A super light nose matches the color which is orange tinged on the rim and slightly opaque in the center. A low alcohol wine that has little backbone and dissipated tannins. The finish was moderate and accented the silkiness which defines this wine. It did go reasonably well with both chicken and a puff pastry that featured warm cheese, a chicken mousse and prosciutto. Drink what you have while you still can...

Nice wine. Ruby color with an orange tint at the rim. Deep fruit and autumn leaves are the main characteristics on the nose. Smooth, full palate with good balancing structure. Drinking well now. A big, but delicious burgundy. I like it - best bottle yet. (92)

In a great place today. Bright red cherry and earth profile. Seemless, fullish yet good vivacity. A joy. (92)
